Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre du 7 au 11 octobre 30 septembre 2009

Tous les ans, les vendanges des vignes de Montmartre sont l’occasion de faire la fête dans tout le 18e arrondissement avec de nombreux évènements. Cette année, Montmartre rend hommage à Jacques Canetti, ancien directeur artistique des Trois Baudets, la célèbre salle où ont été découverts Gainsbourg, Brel, Brassens et tant d’autres et qui a rouvert ses portes cette année.
9 expositions, 2 concerts-évènements, 3 bals, un feu d’artifice en musique, des apéros-découverte, le Grand Défilé, le Parcours du Goût sur la Butte Montmartre, le Parcours du Vin Blanc à la Goutte d’Or, les cérémonies de non-mariages, etc. Montmartre sera en fête du 7 au 11 octobre.
Le Terrass Hôtel et le Diapason participent à l’évènement. Vendredi 9 et samedi 10 octobre, de 18h30 à 20h30, notre pianiste Alceo Passéo interprétera les plus grandes chansons des Trois Baudets ainsi que son répertoire au 12 Cosy Bar pour les Apéro Découverte. Profitez-en pour venir déguster un cocktail imaginé par notre Barman ou une coupe de Champagne !
Du 7 au 13 octobre, entre une exposition et une conférence, faîtes une halte pour déjeuner au restaurant le Diapason. Un menu »Retour du Marché » alléchant vous sera proposé :

Renoir in the 20th century, exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris 25 septembre 2009

From September 23rd 2009 to January 4th 2010, the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais hold the exhibition « Renoir in the 20th century« . Forget everything you know about Auguste Renoir. Forget the impressionist, the « Moulin de la Galette », the « Luncheon of the Boating Party », all his most famous works exposed at the Musée d’Orsay, just across the Seine. Renoir in the 20th century concentrates on Renoir’s work after 1880, when he breaks with the style and the subjects that had made him famous.
« I’m starting to know how to paint. It has taken me over fifty years’ work to get this far and it’s not finished yet », declared Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) in 1913, at a time when a major exhibition of his work, including the large nudes painted at the turn of the twentieth century was on show in Paris. The critics of the time considered him as the greatest living painter with imperishable youth. The new generation of the time, Picasso, Matisse, and his contemporaries Cézanne and Monet, expressed their admiration for the master and in particular for his « last manner », referring to his work at the turn of the century.
Since then, appreciation of « the late Renoir » has changed. The paintings from this period are now little known and often not particularly liked. This exhibition seeks to explore a period and aspects of Renoir’s work which are little known to the public while demonstrating his influence on other artists in France in the first half of the twentieth century. The exhibition brings together about a hundred of Renoir’s paintings, drawings and sculptures, from public and private collections all over the world. These nudes, portraits and studies are occasionnaly shown alongside works by Picasso, Matisse, Maillol or Bonnard, as a testimony to Renoir’s posterity.

Carte d’Automne au Diapason 23 septembre 2009

Le Chef Julien Lamrani et son équipe ont à coeur de mettre les produits et saveurs de saison à l’honneur. C’est donc une carte haute en couleurs automnales qui est proposée aux gourmands.
Au menu, vous pourrez découvrir par exemple, en entrée, la Chair de Tourteau, Gelée de Betteraves et Combawa ou encore le Foie Gras Poché au Consommé de Canard, Pâtes Artisanales, Marrons, Cébettes et Champignons Sauvages. En plat, côté terre, la Pièce de Veau dans le Carré Cuite Lentement, Risotto de Potiron Vanillé, ou côté mer, le Turbot cuit en Dashi, Quelques Légumes et Champignons Sauvages.
En dessert, le Chef Pâtissier Guillaume Gil a imaginé une Sphère Chocolat Noir, Emulsion au Grué de Cacao & Croustillant de Riz Soufflé ou encore, pour poursuivre dans les saveurs automnales, la Crème Brûlée au Caramel, Mousseux aux Marrons & Confit de Mandarine…
Et comme à Montmartre les enfants sont rois, notre chef leur a concocté tout spécialement un menu enfant sain et équilibré avec des produits de saison, car il n’est jamais trop tôt pour apprendre à bien manger avec plaisir.
