Posted by webmaster in : Culture , add a commentLa Maison des métallos présente une série de reportages de Samuel Bollendorff sur les revers écologiques et humains du «miracle économique» chinois. Composée de 50 tirages argentiques de format 40×60 cm, l’exposition de ce jeune photographe, membre de l’agence Oeil Public, nous rappelle l’existence particulièrement difficile des oubliés de la croissance – les trois quarts des 500 millions de paysans chinois, qui vivent aujourd’hui en dessous du seuil de pauvreté.
Samuel Bollendorff
Né en 1974, le photographe est membre de l’agence Oeil Public depuis 1999.
De l’hôpital à l’école, la police ou la prison, de 1998 à 2004, il propose un regard social sur les institutions en France en s’interrogeant sur la place des individus dans les services publics.
Depuis 2006, avec l’aide du Ministère de la Culture, il réalise À MARCHE FORCEE, une série de reportages sur les oubliés du miracle économique chinois, exposée au Festival Visa pour l’image en 2007.

Our recent stay at the Hotel Terrass in the Montmartre area of Paris was beyond our expectations on every score. Our junior suite was lovely, well appointed, extremely comfortable and spacious, even for three people, my husband and I and our 16 year old daughter. The view was incredible. Paris lay at our feet from the small balcony and the Eiffel Tower greeted us to our left. The food - both room service and the restaurant - was exquiste, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff and service were magnificent. Everyone was extremely helpful, especially Daniele, the Concierge. She made us feel welcome and our stay in Montmartre was so much more because of her attention to detail and friendly manner. We would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again whenever we return to Paris.

Des kimonos à Bagatelle 22 mai 2008
Posted by webmaster in : Culture , add a commentDans le cadre du 150e anniversaire des relations franco-japonaises, la Ville de Paris et la Fondation Bunka Gakuen de Tokyo présentent l’exposition Kimonos au parc de Bagatelle, du 16 mai au 15 juillet. Brodés de fleurs ou d’animaux, anciens ou contemporains, les kimonos sont portés lors de mariages, de cérémonies ou dans la vie quotidienne.
Vous êtes invités à découvrir une soixantaine de kimonos des 19e et 20e siècles, ainsi que des kimonos contemporains. Ils proviennent principalement de la collection du musée du costume Bunka Gakuen, qui fait partie de la Fondation.
Les 14 et 15 juin, à 15h dans la galerie, un maître de kimonos animera des séances d’initiation à l’art de porter le kimono.
